Social Care News: Scotland - Care commission creates new post

The Scottish Care Commission has created a post to drive improvements in care for children.

Ronnie Hill has become the commission's new director of children's services regulation.

Hill said ensuring young people were involved in the process of regulation was an essential part of improving the quality of care services for them.

He added: "I want to review and strengthen our links with everyone involved in care services for children." The Care Commission is the regulatory body for care services in Scotland.
