Social Care News: Adoption - Reunion and advice web site unveiled

A web site to give advice and information to families affected by adoption has been launched.

The Adoption Search and Reunion site is aimed at adopted people, birthrelatives and adoptive parents. It has information on tracing relatives,including a directory of agencies that offer counselling and a databaseof where adoption records are held.

The site was developed by the British Association for Adoption &Fostering and funded by the Department for Education and Skills.
