The money will be used to help the project run group activity eventsthat offer emotional support to young refugees and asylum seekers whohave recently moved to the capital.
The donation from the firm's philanthropic arm, The Lehman BrothersFoundation Europe, is part of its commitment to support charities closeto its European headquarters at Canary Wharf.
Andrea Sullivan, Lehman Brothers Europe and Middle East's head ofphilanthropy, said the firm is also looking at ways its staff can becomeinvolved in the project as volunteers. Naomi MacDougall, seniorpractitioner at the project, said: "The money will be a substantial helpto the children, many of whom don't have family here."
