Ask Brook is a response to rising levels of sexually transmitted infections among men under 25. Brook is giving out cards about the site, at www.brook.org.uk, to young men.
Statistics from Brook show diagnosis of gonorrhoea in 2001 was twice as high in men than women. Chlamydia increased by 98 per cent among men in England, Wales and Northern Ireland in the five years to 2000. But 86 per cent of visitors to Brook last year were women.
