SEXUAL HEALTH: Advisory service to send out text alerts

The service is a response to requests from young people.

A spell-check will also be added to the web site and new graphics will be used to help present information better.

Brook's telephone helpline, which provides free sexual health advice to young people, was recently accredited for best practice by the Telephone Helpline Association. Shanta Everington, helpline manager, said: "Having recognition from a professional body reflected the views we have already received from young people. More than 97 per cent say they would recommend our service." www.brook.org.uk.
