In its report, Educating Service Children, the Defence Select Committeesaid treatment of special needs children of armed forces staff was"unacceptable".
Schools often stalled on statementing service children as they expectedthem to move on, said the report. This exacerbated the problem ofstatements not being transferable between schools.
MPs were also worried about delays in policy reaching service schoolsabroad. And there was a concern that extended schools would not beimplemented.
The report added that plans to stabilise personnel movement meantcouncils had to prepare for the impact on pupil numbers.
