Scotland: Glasgow project to expand text service

A text messaging service offering young people in Glasgow sexual health advice is to be expanded after a successful trial.

The Text 4 U service offers automated sexual health advice to young people who text it key words such as "pregnancy".

Following a four-month trial in the Greater Easterhouse area of Glasgow, the service will be rolled out across the city for three months. The service is a joint initiative by Greater Glasgow NHS Board's child and youth team and teenage health project H4U.
