The need to prepare disabled young people more effectively for the workplace and training has been one of the main issues emerging from the committee's two-year disability inquiry, which ends next month.
The committee invited organisations across Scotland to submit evidence about the barriers faced by disabled people in accessing work, further and higher education and leisure.
Organisations submitting evidence include the Scottish Youth Parliament, NCH Scotland and disability charity the Dare Foundation, which raised concerns that disabled young people are not being equipped to reach informed careers decisions.
The committee's recommendations are to be consulted on during the summer, before a final report is published in the autumn.
