Safety: Bradford MYPs highlight trouble

Youth Work
Bradford council has launched an initiative to encourage young people to speak out about trouble spots in their area.

Members of Youth Parliament (MYP) in Bradford North visited the Ravenscliffe estate to note concerns, including broken streetlights and overgrown bushes alongside pathways.

They also met the council co-ordinators for Bradford North to discuss the issues and will be reporting their concerns to the council's contact team.

Hina Rasheed, MYP for Bradford North, said: "It is vital young people feel safe on the streets and it's important young people are aware of how to report their concerns to the council."
