They included 20 of the 120 Community Service Volunteers' Millennium Volunteers who have collectively racked up 15,000 hours over the past five years.
The young volunteers have been involved in caring for the elderly, organising sports activities for young people, fundraising for the centre, translation and teaching Chinese to eight- to 11-year-olds. Staff from accountancy firm KPMG helped the young volunteers make over the centre in preparation for the visit.
