Chocolate manufacturer Cadbury is to offer free sports equipment for schools. But only when young people have bought enough Creme Eggs and Dairy Milk bars to qualify. The message "buy chocolate and get sports equipment" has been blasted by health experts. They point out that chocolate snacks high in fat and sugar are unhealthy. Linking them to a healthy activity like sport is confusing.
Talk to young people about the way companies promote themselves in schools.
Cadbury is just the latest in a series of companies that have used education as a platform to promote their products. For years, Tesco has run a computers for schools scheme.
