Cunningham's professional credentials are impressive. He was a seniorlecturer at the Hester Adrian Research Centre at the University ofManchester and is currently a visiting professor of applied psychologyat Liverpool John Moores University. He is a respected internationalexpert on the subject of Down's syndrome and was a member of thescientific research and advisory committees for both the European and UKDown's syndrome associations. He also lectures at conferences across theworld.
