1. At first glance, blogs - or weblogs - seem no more than journals published online for anyone to see and comment on. No mystery about it. That's all they are. And some are very mundane. So the fuss surrounding them can be a bit hard to fathom. In a youth work setting, the advantage is that blogs are quick and easy to set up. Young people can write about their lives and interests. Youth workers can do likewise. Some are already doing it - as a Young People Now feature, World of Blogs, showed last year (YPN, 20-26 July 2005, p17).
