Life on the Stairs is a gritty urban drama produced and performed by young Londoners. It has been having a marked impact on both audiences and young people alike.
The hard-hitting musical details the aftermath of the fatal shooting of a young man in a club, looking particularly at the impact it had on his family and friends. It was written by 25-year old Gbemisola Ikumelo, who also acts as artistic director for the production.
