- What will it support? Priority goes to projects that involve volunteers in health promotion or health advocacy, such as working on behalf of people with learning difficulties to improve their access to health services. Other projects prioritised include supported volunteering, such as supporting current or ex-drug users to volunteer, and befriending and support for people with specific health and social care needs, such as providing emotional support to victims of sexual abuse. Projects should be entirely new or a "significantly new development" for the organisation and should involve more than 10 new volunteers over a year in a range of "interesting and wide-ranging" roles.
