Resources: And this is what I do - Carly Raby, nationalparticipation manager, YoungMinds

1 min read

What skills and experience do you have for this role? I have a degree, a masters in therapeutic arts from the Institute of Child Mental Health and am a qualified psychotherapist. I have managed a project for permanently excluded young people and founded my own organisation, LUNA, to train adults to put young people at the heart of decision-making. What challenges do you face in this job? First, working nationally to enable all children and young people to feed into our work. And second, to ensure that young people have a voice in a way that feels right for them, and that adults understand that giving young people choice and control over their lives will actually improve their mental health.
