The Road to Resettlement handbook will be available to inmates coming into the prison. It is designed to help them with the issues faced after leaving prison, providing advice and contacts, as well as space for inmates to make notes they feel will be useful to them.
The handbook was produced by a group of seven young offenders over the course of a year, using 5,000 from the lottery's Big Boost scheme, which gives grants to young people for projects benefiting their community.
The document was produced with support from the Reset programme, which is led by youth charity Rainer. The handbook is one of the first publications to result from the two-year project.
