And in a bid to cut teenage pregnancy, ministers are considering reducing VAT on condoms to make them more affordable.
While there is a wide range of rules about the food that should be on school menus, ministers are concerned this has little effect on what children actually eat.
So the Government is likely to insist that, on certain days, schools limit the choice available to children. Unhealthy foods such as chips and pizzas may only be available on one or two days of the week.
