St Sampson's Bridge in Guernsey used to be a site where young people loitered when they had nothing to do. But following the work of young people involved with Guernsey Youth Service, the bridge has now become a welcome attraction for all parts of the community.
As part of CSV's Make a Difference Day in October 2004, Guernsey Youth Service organised a clean-up of St Sampson's Bridge. Emma Rhodes, a personal adviser at the service, says the aim of day was to change the way the Guernsey public perceived young people on the island.
