Project notes: Aw'right

1 min read

Goals: To build young men's self-awareness and confidence so they can make informed decisions about their personal and sexual lives

Funding: It was set up with a three-year grant from the Big Lottery Fund and has secured money from the Community Fund for another two years

Aw'right is a common greeting among young men in Scotland, and fpa has used this as the basis for a sexual health and relationships programme for socially excluded young men.

Set up in 2003 with the help of four local health boards, fpa runs the project for groups including The Prince's Trust, drug rehabilitation centres, youth clubs and education centres.
