Goals: To create a garden for the residents of St Andrew's Court, a housing development for older people

Funding: Sevenoaks District Council's Community Chest.

Three students in Year 10 at Swanley School in Kent spent this spring and summer creating a garden at St Andrew's Court, a Moat Housing Group development for older people.

Chris Barkway, Kurt Coombs and Lisa Leonard were chosen for the project after Chris Jones, Moat Housing Group's support co-ordinator at St Andrew's Court, contacted the local volunteer bureau last year asking if anyone could help create a garden for the residents. The manager at the bureau then put Jones in touch with the local secondary school in Swanley.
