1 min read
What it is: Positive Destinations is a new grant from BBC Children in Need and The Hunter Foundation.

The three-year programme is designed to ensure that children and young people have an opportunity to achieve their potential. It aims to deliver sustainable support to ensure young people achieve a positive future in terms of education, employment or training.

How much is on offer: Positive Destinations has £2m to award in three large grants of about £500,000 and three smaller grants, which will have the remaining £500,000 divided between them.

What it will fund: Projects that target key points in determining a young person's future. These include pre-school, transitions in education and the 14 to 16 age group prior to work or further education. Projects will be expected to generate learning and ensure the sustainability of their work.
