Online youth forum Heads-Up is running an online debate until 9 July that will let young people share their thoughts on the government's plans so far.
Nineteen decision-makers have agreed to take part in the forum, including shadow secretary of state for schools Ed Balls and energy and climate change minister Charles Hendry. Subjects for discussion include what new MPs' priorities should be, and whether young people feel represented by politicians.
Balls said: "It's really important that young people get the chance to debate these important issues. It's equally important that politicians, including me, listen and respond to young people's opinions and experiences."
