The denial follows the controversial decision by disabled children'scharity Kids to withdraw from Charlie Chaplin Playground in Kenningtonand the Palace Playground in Fulham earlier this year.
Campaigners say the decision by the charity to charge children to attendthe two playgrounds, rather than to fund raise, led to dwindlingattendance and the playgrounds' financial demise.
A spokesman for Save the Playgrounds, a group set up by parents andprofessionals in response to the closures, said the remaining schemeswere also under threat, pointing to plans floated by the group to useparents to run summer play schemes and dwindling staff numbers.
"These problems raise doubts about how much longer the remainingplaygrounds will stay open," he said.
