The World Youth Assembly for Road Safety, which will take place in Geneva as part of the United Nations Global Road Safety Week at the end of this month, will involve delegates discussing and adopting a Youth Declaration for Road Safety.
A spokeswoman for the World Health Organisation, which is co-ordinating the event, said the declaration would be a "statement of commitment by the delegates regarding what they will do for road safety".
