Participation: Haringey creates youth website

Haringey Council has launched a website to promote the youth service to young people.

The London borough hopes to use the site to reach nearly 20,000 youngpeople aged between 13 and 19 who live in the area.

A youth board - the Participation Crew - was involved in the developmentof the site, which will also allow young people to comment on youthservice provision.

A spokesman for the council said: "There is a responsibility to makesure young people know what is available to them. We are very keen onpromoting our youth service and engaging with young people."
