At the event six district winners will go head to head to win the overall Hertfordshire accolade, with the awards ceremony taking place at Hertfordshire County Hall.
Organiser Tony Gearing said it was important that young people were recognised for the positive work they did and not just the negative actions of a minority.
"Not all young people are binge drinking, violent hoodies," he said. "But if you believe the stories in the press then that's what you will end up thinking."
