Film stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin Spacey and Richard E Grant were among those who attended the Oscar-style ceremony at the Odeon cinema in Leicester Square. The awards recognised young people who have overcome homelessness, drug addiction and unemployment with the help of the youth charity.
Award winners included reformed heroin and crack addict Ian Fisher, 20, who picked up his Young Achiever Award from Paltrow for setting up a business that educates schoolchildren and prisoners about the dangers of drugs and binge-drinking.
