The survey of parents of children aged under five in the Gravesham Sure Start area, which used the five Every Child Matters outcomes as a structure for evaluation, found just three out of 87 respondents said they were unhappy with the services on offer.
Additionally 80 of the respondents said the programme had made a positive difference, including making them better parents, improving relationships with their partners, making new friends, becoming more involved with the community and feeling less stressed about parenting.
However, six out of 10 parents said they did not know how to get more involved with the Sure Start programme.
