Opinion: If I Were in Charge of... Video Games - Sam Chivers, 9, Hampshire

1 min read
If I were in charge of video games I'd change the prices because once you've completed them you have nothing to do with them and you have to spend another 40 on other games. At the moment the piece of equipment I want costs 30 and it's not worth it. It's a Yu Gi Oh Chaos Duel Disk.

The price of video games would depend on how long they'd been out. New ones would cost 15, old ones 10 and second-hand ones 5. For video games, I'd try and make disposable ones so you could just throw them away once you'd finished with them.

I'd include more details on games in the Argos catalogue. For example, at the moment you just have the basic details, like "put it on your arm and start playing". I'd include more details so you don't have to work things out for yourself.

If you go to a games shop, traded games are usually quite expensive if they're new versions. If you trade a game in, I'd make sure it costs the same as other second-hand ones. I'd also make sure the games were in alphabetical order and that there were signs saying what games were in the shop.
