Opinion: If I were in charge of ... Time - David Carter, 13, London

1 min read
First I'd make my birthday the longest day of the year. Then I'd go to the future and find out all the new inventions and bring them back to our time. I'd go forward 1,000 years. By then there would be hover cars, aliens and spaceships.

I'd stop time so that I could do my chores quicker. At the moment I have to do the hoovering, tidy my bedroom, clean the dishes, wipe down the kitchen counter top, clean the bathroom and empty the bins.

You could stop yourself from growing old, which would be good because you'd stay stronger and a bit more healthy. If you lived forever you'd get to see what would happen and how things would change.

I'd also go back to the past because I want to see how the dinosaurs really died - was it a giant meteor or an ice age? I'd like to see a raptor because it's a carnivore. It's about human size.
