Opinion: If I were in charge of ... school - Tunde, 16, London

1 min read
I'd like to do something for the young people in the school, like a school council. I'm not involved in the school council at my school but I would like to get involved.

I'd like to be there to mediate and help other young people. If youngpeople are angry or fighting I'd like to help calm them down and stopthem fighting. I'd like to do something like that because I know whatthe result of fighting can be.

I've helped stop fights before. It's not easy. In the beginning when Ifirst started helping, it was hard. But as it goes on you get more usedto it.

There's not something the school council can do about it, it's not thateasy. People get used to it and you have to work with the young peopleso they aren't so defensive.
