Opinion: If I were in charge of ... School, Mariam Iqbal, 12, Sandwell

If I were in charge of the school I would put up a cinema and two big swimming pools. I would have all the rules changed and most of all I would not allow racism.

I would not allow children to smoke because they will suffer for years and years, which is not nice.

I would also have lots of laptops. Children could do all their homework on the laptop, which would be great.

I would also not allow any graffiti on the walls of schools. It gives a bad impression to inspectors and people who are passing by.

I'd make everyone have school dinners because it's good to have healthy food. I'd also have healthy drinks. I'd have lots more vending machines and as well as having healthy food in them, there would be food that children enjoy like sweets and crisps.
