Opinion: If I were in charge of ... School, Steph, 11, Hertfordshire

1 min read
If I were in charge of school, I'd change the uniform to make it nice.

I'd also have nicer food in the kitchen as we get lots of chips and salty stuff, although not as much as we used to.

I would make the school day shorter as we're there from 8.30am to 6pm, as well as on Saturday mornings. I'd stop Saturday school completely.

I'd keep the number of games lessons the same as we have lots, which is fun.

I'd give 11- and 12-year-olds more responsibilities - we should be able to keep our own tuck shop.

I'm at a boarding school, so I'd also change how often you can see your parents, as the older years are able to see their parents more.
