Opinion: If I were in charge of Poverty - Billy, 12, and Justin,13, Somerset

1 min read
Billy I see people in Africa suffering and it's not nice.

If you really put yourself in their shoes, they've no shelter, no foodand no clean water or anything. I would try and stop it. I don't knowhow.

I would try and raise money for them. I would take them food like riceand that, take clothes. I would take quite a lot of wood to build themshelters.

I know Bob Geldof is trying to do something about it but it's hard whenthey're so many. I've been to Greece. It's hot and there's hardly anyrain. But the people there aren't poor because they've got jobs so theycan earn a living.

Justin I would give all my money to the poor because in Africa theyhaven't got any food. I would want to give them shelter, love andwarmth. I would send them people to look after them.
