Opinion: If I were in charge of ... Music Venues - Fikir Assefa, 16, London

1 min read
If I were in charge of music venues and gigs the first thing I'd do is ban smoking. It's a horrible habit. There would be clean toilets that were easily accessible to everyone and didn't get crowded.

It's not always easy to get a hold of tickets these days. Festivals like Glastonbury sell out within hours. And some people will do anything to get their hands on them, so if you are one of the lucky ones I think that you should get into the crowd atmosphere and have fun. No-one would be allowed to sit on the side and be a spoilsport.

Everyone at a venue should be able to see the band playing so I'd introduce a system whereby the audience stood in order of their height - shorter people at the front and tall people (and people with crazy hair) would have to stand further back.
