Online: Suffolk teens work on local net hub

Young people from Haverhill in Suffolk have helped design a website detailing information about the area.

The CB9 Media Hub project involved about 30 young people aged between 13 and 19. The group worked with media professionals and learned a range of transferable skills.

Michelle Brace, youth projects officer at Haverhill Town Council, said: "The project is gathering momentum all the time. It will live beyond March 2008 when initial funding ends."

Government-backed scheme Mediabox has given £20,000 to fund the project.
