A fresh look should be taken at the philosophy of playwork and playwork training, says Play Wales, which is to start a UK-wide review of the subject. It says there are too many "adult values and constraints" in the 10-year-old document that underpins the playwork NVQ. The consultation, financed by the Welsh Assembly Government, will be on the Play Wales website www.chwaraecymru.org.uk.
