News Brief: Police investigate 'restraint' claims

Strathclyde Police are investigating "historic allegations of excessive and inappropriate use of physical restraint" by staff at Kerelaw School in Ayrshire, which is managed by Glasgow City Council. Three staff have been suspended and six others transferred. The council said arrangements had been made to ensure the continued care of young people living at the school.
