This includes setting clear targets to reduce child poverty, producing an annual scoreboard on child wellbeing, showing what works, and helping member states improve their practice through mutual learning as well as working together across policy areas.
In order to achieve a strong political commitment, Eurochild is calling for the European Commission to adopt a recommendation on child poverty and wellbeing.
A special action week ahead of the EU conference on child poverty will take place on the 2 and 3 of September, which will ask Facebook fans to change their profile picture to one from their childhood.
