An NCB exhibition of artwork celebrating what the convention means to children, young people and adults working with children was shown at an event at Lancaster House in London. 11 Million, the organisation led by the children's commissioner for England, hosted the event.
NCB invited children and young people to help celebrate the anniversary and show the positive achievements that have been made in children's rights by choosing an article from the convention and developing a creative response in the form of an illustration, video, poster, photograph or booklet. At the event, Young NCB members acted as journalists, taking pictures of attendees and adding them to a wall with accompanying quotes about what children's rights mean to each of them. The collection of children's art, illustrations, film and photography will be exhibited online.
