1 min read
NCB has been commissioned by the Department of Health to consult young people on their views of health services. The findings will feed into the department's Your Health, Your Care, Your Say consultation, which aims to improve community health and social services.

The charity's work will include a literature review of young people'sperspectives, a guide to help organisations carry out their ownlistening exercises and a series of face-to-face consultations.

To ensure as many young people as possible have their say, NCB is alsocarrying out an online survey. Respondents will be asked questions suchas who would you like to talk to if you had a health problem? And howwould you like to get new information on services? Young people willalso have the opportunity to give suggestions on how services could beimproved.

"We are pleased that the Government has pledged to take young people'sopinions into account when shaping future health services," said JoButcher, principal officer, children's development department, NCB.
