NCB Now: Support for listening to children

1 min read
The Young Children's Voices Network (YCVN) resource Let's Listen is now available online, due to popular demand following on from its print launch on 22 April at County Hall.

The Let's Listen resource, part funded by Participation Works based at NCB, is a self-assessment tool to support the development of a listening culture in early childhood services, and is designed for practitioners to use in early years settings. The resource uses the themes and principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the YCVN listening cycle.

The resource can also be used by local authorities and Children's Trust boards to evaluate participation of young children in children's services. The Let's Listen resource online page has versions of assessment tables that can be filled in electronically and information on how to purchase printed copies.
