NCB Now: See the Child, not the Drugs

1 min read
In 2005, five leading children's charities formed the first alliance of its kind, to work together to prevent drug misuse among vulnerable young people.

The Drug Prevention Alliance, co-ordinated by NCB and funded by the Department of Health, has generated recognition and a growing impetus for voluntary sector engagement in addressing substance misuse issues with some of the most vulnerable young people in the UK.

See the Child, not the Drugs: Supporting vulnerable young people affected by drug use, on Tuesday 4 December in London, will explore the resources and recommendations emerging from the alliance's work, including projects carried out by Barnardo's, The Children's Society, NCH and NSPCC.

Be the first to receive a free set of the alliance's new and unique resources on substance misuse, which will be launched on the day.
