NCB NOW: Rural children in Surrey consulted

The Forum for Rural Children and Young People, based at NCB, has carried out a consultation on the needs of children living in rural parts of Surrey.

The consultation, carried out for the Surrey Children's Fund Partnership, highlights issues of concern to 79 children between the ages of five and 13. The children used a variety of media, including artwork, photography, questionnaires and interviews. Topics raised included transport, socialising with friends, anti-social behaviour, racism and social exclusion.
