NCB Now: News from Wales -- How do we protect children subject to asylum?

The two-year Child Protection Policy and Advice project that has been run by Children in Wales and the Welsh Refugee Council will be coming to an end in May.

To mark this, Children in Wales is hosting a conference on 5 May in Cardiff entitled, How do we Protect Children in Families Subject to Asylum? The conference will highlight the work that has been carried out by the project. Delegates will hear some of the main issues surrounding the protection of children living with families who are seeking asylum. This will include an overview of the asylum system in Wales and accounts from families in the asylum system. It will also consider issues of the mental health needs of children in system.
