Sexual Objectification, Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse: Engaging with Research, Policy and Practice

Children in Wales and Cardiff University are holding a half-day seminar on 30 April that will present research findings, best practice and policy development for practitioners working with children and young people in the areas of sex and relationships education, sexual bullying, sexual abuse and sexual exploitation. The seminar will bring together research from the School of Social Sciences’ gender, sexuality and childhood research groups.  The aim is to encourage reflection and debate on the relationship between research and practice exploring the everyday experiences of sexual objectification and violence.
