NCB Now: News from Scotland

The forthcoming special conference from Children in Europe, A Sense of Place, being held on 8 June in Inverness, will provide delegates with the chance to focus on how services can engage with the communities they serve.

Services not only enhance children's environments, but also help to develop their understanding of place and community. The conference will explore the issues raised in issue 18 of the Children in Europe magazine, considering the role of place-based, family and intergenerational learning in tackling problems of service delivery in rural communities, and access to natural environments in urban areas.
