This year's convention examines youth justice "end to end", looking athow to deliver an effective and joined-up service.
A workshop on 16 November, co-hosted by Lisa Payne, NCB's principalpolicy officer, will provide an opportunity to debate whether the systemshould put the child or the offender first.
On 17 November Di Hart, from NCB's Children's Residential Care Unit,will take part in a session on behaviour management in custody. Hartwill focus on physical restraint, giving an overview of the currentsituation and discussing what an ideal approach might be.
