NCB Now: NCB strengthens membership ties

NCB has completed a four-month pilot membership scheme, allowing the charity to gain a better understanding of its members' requirements.

The scheme involved a cross-section of NCB membership including local authorities and schools. NCB established regular contact with members to discuss how best to support them.

"The pilot provided us with practical feedback to improve our member services," said Hannah Luddington, marketing manager, NCB.

Pilot members experienced benefits including discounts on conferences and a members-only web site.

"We were impressed with the variety of resources and up-to-date information which NCB offers," said Marion Thompson from Child Action Northwest, a pilot member.
